This portrait is amazingly detailed, and earns a 5/5 on Impact. I'm not sure if this would fall under vision or technique, but the right eye is a little distorted, and the skin a bit too blotchy on the right side. (Now, if this is your drawing style then so be it, my mistake.) I also enjoy how on the left half of the image, the facial outline is a bit more blurred than the right. So 4.5/5 stars for technique. As for originality, in my personal opinion the image has it's own style, but rounds back to the basics of portrait painting, whether digital or on a canvas. 5/5. I think vision would probably be about how the artist views the proportions and other aspects of the image. I'm going to have to give a 4/5 in this category, because the glasses appear to come a bit too far off the bridge of the nose and cheek bones. It looks a little unnatural. 4.5/5 All in all, this is an exquisite piece of art, that with a little more touching up, would be even better than it was before.
CommentsAh, I see it. Alright, that makes more sense. I'm always glad to help people out while having a good learning experience myself. For portraiture being new to you, this is absolutely amazing!
You're welcome! Always a pleasure to hear from others. I gain new insight into what people see with every critique I receive so it is very much appreciated.
